Tata MF launches Fixed Maturity Plan Series 39 Scheme A

Tata Mutual Fund has launched a new fixed term fund named as Tata Fixed Maturity Plan Series 39 Scheme A, a close-ended debt scheme with the duration of 370 days from the date of allotment.
The NFO opens for subscription on January 24, 2012 and will close on January 30, 2012. The scheme offers growth option and periodic dividend option (payout).
The scheme will be benchmarked against CRISIL Short Term Bond Fund Index. The minimum application amount is Rs 10,000.
The scheme would allocate upto 100% of assets in debt and money market instruments with low to medium risk profile. Exposure to domestic securitised debt would be 20% of the net assets. No investments would be made in foreign securitised debt.
The scheme will be managed by Murthy Nagarajan.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income and / or capital appreciation by investing in wide range of debt and money market instruments having maturity in line with the maturity of the scheme. The maturity of all investments shall be equal to or less than the maturity of the scheme.
