Invesco Mutual Fund files offer India Equity Savings Fund

Invesco Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch an open ended scheme named 'Invesco India Equity Savings Fund'. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit. Entry load will be nil and Exit Load in respect of each purchase/switch-in of units, an exit load of 1% is payable if units are redeemed/ switched-out on or before 1 year from the date of allotment, In respect of each purchase/switch-in of units, no exit load is payable if units are redeemed/switched-out after 1 year from the date of allotment, Switch between the Plans under the Scheme: For Switch from Regular Plan to Direct Plan will be Applicable exit load, For Switch from Direct Plan to Regular Plan will be Nil. The scheme offers growth and dividend options and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.
The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked by NIFTY Equity Savings Index. The minimum application amount for initial purchase is Rs 5,000 and in multiples of Re 1 thereafter.
The investment objective of the scheme is to generate capital appreciation and income by investing in equity and equity related instruments, arbitrage opportunities and fixed income instruments.
