Prior to joining FundsIndia (majority owned by WestBridge Capital), he served as Country Head – Private Banking, Liabilities Products & Spectrum Banking at Yes Bank, where he played a defining role in building and scaling some of the bank’s most successful retail and wealth businesses.
At FundsIndia, Akshay is spearheading the growth of Retail, B2B, and Private Wealth verticals, with a vision to make FundsIndia the preferred digital-first investment and advisory platform for individuals, partners, and affluent clients. He is driving the platform’s PAN-India expansion, digital innovation, and customer engagement. Under his leadership, FundsIndia is broadening its presence across retail, partner, and private wealth segments, solidifying its standing in the wealth management space.
