{"id":30672,"date":"2024-10-15T12:23:35","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T06:53:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fundsindia.com\/blog\/?p=30672"},"modified":"2024-10-15T12:23:36","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T06:53:36","slug":"resumption-of-subscription-in-nimf-schemes-investing-in-overseas-securities","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundsindia.com\/blog\/bulletin\/resumption-of-subscription-in-nimf-schemes-investing-in-overseas-securities\/30672","title":{"rendered":"Resumption of Subscription in NIMF Schemes Investing in Overseas Securities"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Investors, Please be informed Investors are hereby informed about the resumption of subscriptions in NIMF schemes investing in overseas securities via lumpsum, switch-ins, and fresh registration of SIPs\/STPs or other special products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Background<\/strong>: As per the communication from AMFI on January 30, 2022, and in line with SEBI\u2019s guidelines, subscriptions in NIMF schemes investing in overseas securities were suspended from February 26, 2024, to avoid breaching the industry-wide overseas investment limits set by RBI.<\/li><li><strong>Resumption<\/strong>: Based on SEBI\u2019s approval (Letter No. SEBI\/HO\/OW\/IMD-II\/DOF3\/P\/25095\/2022 dated June 17, 2022) and guidance from AMFI, mutual fund schemes may now resume subscriptions within the headroom available without exceeding the overseas investment limits. Accordingly, from <strong>October 15, 2024<\/strong>, subscriptions via lumpsum, switch-ins, and fresh registration of SIPs\/STPs will resume under the following NIMF Schemes:<ul><li>Nippon India US Equity Opportunities Fund<\/li><li>Nippon India Japan Equity Fund<\/li><li>Nippon India Taiwan Equity Fund<\/li><li>Nippon India ETF Hang Seng BeES<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: The total utilization of the overseas investment limit remains capped at the level as of February 01, 2022, to comply with SEBI\u2019s directives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more details, please read the <a href=\"https:\/\/fundsindia-marketing-assets.s3.ap-south-1.amazonaws.com\/53+-+Resumption+of+subscription+in+NIMF+schemes-14-10-2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">addendum<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Investors, Please be informed Investors are hereby informed about the resumption of subscriptions in NIMF schemes investing in overseas securities via lumpsum, switch-ins, and fresh registration of SIPs\/STPs or other special products.
