In India, Sector-wise, the BSE Oil &amp; Gas index surged the most (6.7%) during the month gone by. The BSE Auto index registered a gain of 6.4% followed by BSE Realty, which jumped 6.3%. On the other hand, the BSE FMCG index fell 2.2%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While the Sensex gave moderate returns in February, as many as 74 stocks on the BSE 500 clocked double-digit gains of up to 32%.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, India&#8217;s service sector continued to grow during February as positive demand trends supported sales and business activity.
