Spread across categories, this list helps narrow down investment choices from the hundreds of funds that you would otherwise have to sift through. We review this list on a quarterly basis. There are additions to ensure that good funds are not left out. There are also deletions if we find certain funds\u2019 strategies to be inappropriate for the prevailing market conditions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"blog-highlight\" style=\"clear: both; background: #3ba010; border: none; width: 60%; text-align: center; box-shadow: 0 5px 5px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.5);\"><a style=\"text-decoration: none;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fundsindia.com\/content\/jsp\/registration\/login.jsp?ref=blog-button\" target=\"_blank\"> <span style=\"color: #fff; font-weight: bold;\">Open<\/span> <span style=\"color: #fff; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;\"> a FREE Account Now! <\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<p>None of the funds that we removed from our list are to be exited, unless we clearly state that. If you hold funds that we have removed, please continue to stay invested in them. Funds we take off our list are not poor. Their performance, based on metrics such as consistency, volatility, or returns have slipped compared to the category leaders. Given that the Select Funds list represents the investment-worthy funds today, we remove such funds from the list. We may also remove a fund if we find another that has steadily been improving its performance and merits an inclusion, in order to keep the Select list compact.<\/p>\n<p>Our call, for this list, is based on whether a peer fund can do a better job when fresh exposure is taken today. A fund that we remove can still be a good performer and continue to build long-term wealth. We do not prefer that you sub-optimally churn your portfolio every time we make a change to the Select Funds.<\/p>\n<p>As a FundsIndia investor, you would have received an email explaining the changes to the list and the reasons behind the same.
