Investment Guide for Today’s Professionals

March 20, 2013 . Srikanth Meenakshi

At FundsIndia, we are happy and proud to release our next investment publication. It’s a handbook – a guide – for the modern day professional about making and managing investments.

Mr Narayana Murthy, Chairman Emeritus of Infosys, has kindly written the foreword for the book.

Investment guide for today’s professionals

It is a short, simple publication – one in which we cover some basic questions: Why should one invest, how much, and how to go about it. It is a primer for someone uninitiated in the methods of saving and growing money – to motivate them, to clarify some basic questions, and show them the proper way ahead.

We have always felt the need for such a publication whenever we speak with investors across the country – more people need to know and learn about the power of regular investing for their long-term benefit. This publication is a small step towards this goal.

It is targeted – in terms of style and content – towards the young professionals today – people who are at the threshold of their careers and/or family life. People who have the wonderful opportunity to start saving and investing at an early age to reap rewards later.

The book can be downloaded from the link at the bottom of this post. I welcome people to read it, and importantly, pass it on to their friends who might benefit from the learning.

Thanks, and Happy Reading!

  1. Dear Srikanth,

Your primer is certainly enlightening for the uninitiated ( my version -financially illiterate )….

It is also an exemplification of an ideal project report – colourful, elegant and very importantly lucid !!

i do sincerely wish that i had my hands on this some 10 years ago….with this in mind i have mailed this handbook to some of my juniors as well as some of the young guns in similar predicament as i was many years back…

It is one of a kind and i do suggest you should really author a few books if you haven’t already.

Looking forward to some more such publications here.

    All said ….thanks a ton !!!
